Year round “Saltwater Trophy size fish”, Tarpon 80 to 125 lbs, Snook 15 to 50 lbs in the quiet waters of the San Juan river, 120 miles from the sea. A unique and yet to be discovered fishing destination – that offers incredible tarpon fishing between the border towns of Los Chiles, Costa Rica and San Carlos, Nicaragua. This area is also famous for the Solentiname islands, a chain of 36 verdant islands where many of the Archipelago’s islands hold evidence of Solentiname’s ancient inhabitants. Petroglyphs and various stone carvings, pottery and idols lay scattered, undisturbed in the brush. The all inclusive fishing starts with your arrival into Managua, the 1st night in historical Granada, 2nd day your 55 minute flight bring you to the fishing lodge, in the beautiful jungle setting of San Carlos / Los Chiles. At the end of your fishing trip, instead of returning to Managua, for an additional charge, we can transfer you by car to San Jose, Costa Rica for your return flight to USA.
